First meeting

In 2012, I started to get acquainted with railway operations. On July 23, 2012, I arrived in Ongar with my friends and the introductions began.

The first locomotive to arrive BR Class 37 D6729 (37029)

On the opposite side of the train was Great Western Railway Hall Class 4900 steam locomotive No. 4953 "Pitchford Hall". Then still in green livery.

There was another interesting feature on the platform at North Weald station. This was engine 1498 with 3-CIG electric drive. It was temporarily running as a 4-CIG unit with the addition of a standard Mark 1 coach.

And at the end came a ride in a "London classic". By bus RTL 1076.
