On 11.4.2010 the Cobham Bus Museum held an open day and display of buses and utility vehicles at the nearby unused airport. It was the first event I went to on my own and with zero knowledge of the language. It was almost incomprehensible to me that it was possible to organize such a big event and gather so many vehicles from different owners in one place. The experience was overwhelming and unforgettable to this day.
In the years that followed, the museum moved from Cobham to new premises on the grounds of the Brooklands Museum. So this memory will always remain a memory.
